A hidden world of magic didn't seem possible, at least not until the Statue of Secrecy was broken and it was decided both worlds would be better off without it. Everyone in the world is now connected, woven within a web of lies, magic, deception, love, fear, friendship, hate, life, and anguish. Many have profited from the changes that have been made and have moved on with their lives, but for others the end is very near. In this New Age not everyone can win, those with knowledge have power, power equals corruption, and good does not always outweigh bad.
It is for those very reasons the brink of war is upon both worlds

Christopherson Takes His Stand January 2021 Peter Johnson
Former Minister of Magic Stanley K. Christopherson has stepped down from office. Currently two others have been nominated to take his place at the beginning of the new year.
Christopherson, our beloved leader for the last eight years, has decided to take what time in his life he has left and go on a lifetime vacation with his wife Mary, and two children Stanley Jr and Jessica. Christopherson's goodbye was short, no more than a two day notice was given before he exited the position he was elected into just eight years prior.
His leave was rejoiced by many; members of society have impatiently waited for the appointment of another, one who would no so blunderously place the wizarding world at risk and it's people on display like common zoo animals.
The two new candidates include Agnes Li, from the Department of Transportation, and Dwight Peak, from the Department of Law.

Elections on the Mind, Again January 2024 Jenifer Knotting
It is, once again, time for Elections. Our current Minister of Magic, Minister Dwight Alan Peak, has announced his upcoming retirement. The Minister plans on retiring peacefully come June, allowing the newly elected official to step into office July 1, 2024. This very plan has many in an uproar. For one, Students will be leaving Hogwarts and it is a crucial time for them to step into a world that is easily navigable for them. However, with someone new taking up office, this will effect the entire United Kingdom. How will the entering adults possibly fit into a world that will still be shaky from not knowing where it stands with the new Minister. There is the possibility laws will be changing, reflecting the new reign.
There are three candidates who've risen to the people's eye: William York, Marriam Webster, and Vincent Gheule.
York is a man who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, was Prefect of Ravenclaw, and became Head Boy in his final year. He immediately entered the Ministry in the Department of Transportation and has been there since. It appears his colleagues pushed for him to forward himself as a candidate, and he is favored by many.
Marriam Webster also attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, was named Quidditch Captain and Prefect of Hufflepuff, and opened her own sweets business in Diagon Alley after leaving Hogwarts. After selling her business to her partner, she entered St. Mungos as a Healer-in-Training and soon became well known on the Magical Bugs ward where she was known for bringing all patients a smile and sweet treat weekly.
Our third Candidate, like the previous, attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, was named Head Boy in his last year and remained Quidditch Captain for three consecutive years over Slytherin House. After leaving Hogwarts he went into business as a curse breaker, being sent to Italy and Greece for most of his career. Vincent Gheule has made a recent return to London, and seems to be a favorite of Peak's for taking his position.
Our three leading candidates have been named and there will be more to come.

Backgrounds on Our Candidates February 2024 Tina Ukitor
With the upcoming Election on everyone's mind, we all want to know more about those who are willing to step into office. This is to say, how do we know whether the person we vote for is really who they're portraying themselves to be? In this special section, we've decided to explore our Candidate thoroughly, so the public is fully informed.

Candidate Fleeing From Race March 2024 Matthew Tecumseh
We have just been informed that Minister Candidate favorite, William P. York has dropped out of the running for unknown reasons. While in the past two months he's been holding strong at the top of all polls, York has decided to drop from the campaign, not citing a reason. This has all of the U.K. up in arms, what the people want to know is why? From the beginning he has been a favorite to put into the Ministry's seat after Minister Peak had announced his resignation this coming July, and without a mark on his record that any investigators can find, he has mysteriously decided to no longer run against other favorites: M. Webster and V. Gheule.
While exiting the Ministry today, reporters swarmed hoping for a quote, but one was not given. Instead, Ministry Officials held all reporters back while Mr. York used the Floo Network to leave the Ministry, we assume he went home, but no one answered at their front or back door despite many pleas.
This is one mystery that has us all confused. With York now out of the running, Gheule and Webster are neck and neck in the polls, while the public scramble for a new favorite.
