A hidden world of magic didn't seem possible, at least not until the Statue of Secrecy was broken and it was decided both worlds would be better off without it. Everyone in the world is now connected, woven within a web of lies, magic, deception, love, fear, friendship, hate, life, and anguish. Many have profited from the changes that have been made and have moved on with their lives, but for others the end is very near. In this New Age not everyone can win, those with knowledge have power, power equals corruption, and good does not always outweigh bad.
It is for those very reasons the brink of war is upon both worlds

It had been a long and hard year and the Minister for Magic knew his hold on his position was precarious. The Prophet wanted to focus on the negativity and mistakes his administration had (allegedly) created, but Vincent hoped a distractions would, well... distract them enough to forget all of that.
With the help of the Hogwarts Headmaster, the Yule Festival was brought back, set up near the small wizarding town of Hogsmeade, where the Minister hoped the constituents would appreciate the business. Venders and artisans were called in, entertainers were booked, and even a petting zoo was created with the help of the flighty Creatures Professor at Hogwarts.
But it was the Light Show that van Gheule was most proud of. Twice nightly, the skies would magically light up and the crowds would ooh and ahh in approval. Who could remember what lies The Prophet printed when they had beautiful lights to distract them. All Vincent had to do was sit back and enjoy the accolades.
