Accepted! Welcome to Hogwarts: The New Ages
Full Character Name: Victoria (Tori) Rosalina Bradley
D.o.B./Age: April 13, 2013 / 13
Place of Residency: Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, Wales, UK
Blood Status: Half-Blood
Graduation Year: 2031
History:
Victoria Rosalina Bradley was born to Robbert Bradley and Lorren Hale/Bradley on April 13th. Robbert was a pureblood wizard, while Lorren was a muggle. They met during Robbert's seventh year during Christmas vacation while Lorren was visiting family in Robbert's home town. When they first met Lorren didn't really like Robert much because she thought he was really strange. He liked her immediately and tried constantly to get her to go out with him. Eventually just to get him to stop bugging her she said yes. By the end of the vacation she'd fallen madly in love with him too, and that's when Robbert told her that he was a wizard. She was disbelieving at first, and wouldn't talk to him for a few days after because she thought he was crazy, but after awhile she realized that she was crazy about him. They dated for a few years and eventually got married.
For the longest time they weren't able to have children and they didn't think it was going to happen until Tori was finally born. However, they weren't able to have any more children after that due to complications. They've often thought of adopting, then they realize how hyper their child is now and figure they may want to wait until they are ready to handle more than one. Her parents never kept the fact that she was a witch from her, and she always accepted it without thinking. It just always was. She loves magic, and even though she could succeed in a muggle profession she really wants to have a job in the magical world.
Tori was always a handful as a child, but was always very smart too. She started reading at a very early age and did well in her muggle school, but was relieved to start Hogwarts. Throughout her childhood there really was nothing extremely interesting except for the one year that she skipped a grade. Her family was always very close, even to the point of her muggle side of the family knowing about wizards before it was common knowledge. In particular she's close with her cousins, Pamela, Paula, and Elizabeth. They always made good partners in crime.

Personality Description:
Overall Tori's personality is very loud. She can be pretty obnoxious at times, especially when showing off her awesome know-how skills. She loves knowing random facts that no one else knows she she's kind of a smart-Alec. It can be considered somewhat of a surprise to some people that she's as smart as she is because she's so hyper and spastic. Her parents are pretty sure she has ADHD, but Tori's cool with that. For being all this she's actually pretty disciplined when it comes to studying. Grades mean a surprisingly large amount to her. She is very mischievous and often gets into trouble. She's a prankster, but never goes so far so as her tricks would be considered evil. She doesn't like actually evil things, though she often claims to be evil more in the joking type of way. In a way this is true because of her trouble making, but her heart is in the right place. She always introduces herself as Tori, because she has always hated the name Victoria with a burning passion of one thousand suns.
Tori's a fairly brave person. Her only real genuine fear is that of thestrals. She can handle dragons and such, but thestrals freak her out. She can't see them since she's never seen anyone die, but she's constantly afraid that she's going to run right into one since she can't see it and then it'll attack her and eat her head off. She constantly says it's a rational fear, but many other people say it isn't. Other than that her only other fear is broccoli. She hates it. She loves the fact that she's a half-blood because then she gets the experience of both worlds, and she get's really upset when she hears muggles being insulted since her mother is a muggle. Even though Tori is obnoxious, she is really nice and on rare occasions even known to be sweet.
Physical Description:
Height: 4' 7"
Weight/Build: Petite
Skin Tone: Fairly tan
Hair Color and Style: Long straight, Brunette
Eye Color: Chocolate Brown
Tori has fairly long hair because she hates getting it cut. Most of the time she just styles it straight because she really doesn't feel like curling it, although it does amuse her greatly when it is. Her skin is a bit more tan because she spends a lot of time outside, not because she doesn't like her house, she's just very athletic and outdoorsy. She's very proud of her dark chocolate brown eyes because although she's the spitting image of her mother, her eyes are the one thing besides her magic that she got from her dad. She's sort of short, but not like a midget. She also quite petite with soft features, but athletic so even though she looks all cute and stuff doesn't mean that she's not strong. She's also got very clear skin that rarely ever gets pimples, which she is thankful for. She dresses casually most of the time, preferring tank tops and vests most of the time. She prefers jeans, but dresses up the look by wearing ballet flats.

Special Talents: Tori is very gifted when it comes to sports. With muggle sports she prefers soccer and she's even tried polo. Her mum insisted she have equestrian training, so she's got good horsemanship skills. She likes to play quidditch with her dad sometimes, but isn't quite sure if she'd ever like to try out for a house team. Tori's fairly musically inclined, mostly with string or brass instruments, her favorite being the violin. She'll also just randomly burst out singing occasionally, so it's a good thing she isn't tone deaf. She's also the go-to person for figuring out muggle technology.
RP Example:
Tori's brain was going like a runaway train on crack. There was no other way to describe how excited she was to finally be going to Hogwarts. Granted muggle school had gone fine and all that, but who really cared about learning all that stuff when you were a wizard? Well, she did and would probably end up taking Muggle Studies eventually, but that was still a few years away. Magic was a whole lot more interesting than all that other stuff she'd learned. Honestly, the wars and stuff she'd learned about in history were so boring! They used guns and stuff, and it was all so predictable. Magic made things much more different and interesting. It was a relief to not have to learn that other stuff anymore.
The train couldn't seem to move fast enough for as badly as Tori wanted to be there already. She probably could've run a mile in five minutes she was so hyper. She was sitting in a compartment with a few other new students and she was by far the most excited out of all of them. They all looked scared or slightly worried, and they constantly fretted over what house they'd be put into. Tori knew what house she wanted to be in. Ravenclaw, like her father. He'd be proud of her whatever house, but she knew the look he'd get on his face if she was put in Ravenclaw. She was his pride and joy after all, and knowing him, it'd probably make his life if she were in Ravenclaw. She knew her mother didn't entirely understand all the different things about magic and Hogwarts, but by the sound of it it seemed most likely that she'd want her daughter to be in Ravenclaw as well. She was proud of her daughter's smarts, and was quite competitive with other parents. It amused Tori greatly, but she knew her mum wanted her to do her best.
When the train finally ground to a halt, Tori practically hit the ceiling in her excitement to get off the train. She'd had her robes on for most of the trip so she was already ready. She didn't quite know where her cat, Lysol, had gotten to, but she figured he'd turn up sooner or later. He always did. When she stepped off the train the first things she saw was the lake. Then she looked up. The castle stood there, looming over the black water, every window had a light burning within it. The sight took Tori's breath away. She'd spent years dreaming of this, and had seen her dad's photos of the castle, but seeing it here, in person was better than she could've imagined. She heard them call the first years, so she knew they'd be headed to the castle shortly. Finally! "Please let me be in Ravenclaw, please let me be in Ravenclaw!" she muttered under her breath, then hurried to catch up to the rest of the first years.
