Full Character Name: Quinn Addison Peralta
D.o.B./Age:Jun 25th 2014 age 14
Place of Residency: Northumberland UK
Blood Status: Unknown, most likely half blood, possibly muggleborn
House Preference 1: Hufflepuff
House Preference 2: Ravenclaw
Wand: 11 inches, Dragon heartstring, Cherry. The wand is a beauty, natural cherry wood with cherry blossom flowers engraved at the base with one yellow stripe running around the wand near the tip . The wand tends to work very well as long as Quinn can keep a steady mind. When Quinn loses control, the wand tends to become picky and will not function correctly.
History: Quinn was born to one of the best fathers in the world, Dai Peralta, right in the middle of Northumberland in the UK. Dai had given his life to help Quinn. You see Quinn is a very special child. A child that has needs. When Quinn was born, his mom decided to give the baby up. She knew exactly who the father was so she dropped off Quinn at an adoption agency with the name of the father written on the birth certificate. Dai remembered very specifically about the lady he spent a night with. He didn't know for sure if it was possible that this child was his or not. A quick paternity test later determined that Quinn was indeed his.
Dai spent some time trying to find the mother of his child. He only remembered her first name, Yatsuko. Unfortunately, he would fail in finding her, leaving him to raise Quinn all on his own.
As Quinn grew older, he noticed strange things about Quinn. Some days Quinn would be the most loving child you have ever met. Sure Quinn could be shy, sure Quinn couldn't be away from Dai for more than a few seconds without having a panic attack. There were days however that caused Dai to worry. Days where Quinn would be, well, different. Even from a young age. Quinn would have days where he would be extremely angry and have outbursts that completely made him seem like a completely different child. His voice would even change when he was in these moods.
One day, at the age of nine, Quinn had another episode and began throwing tables at students and teachers. Claiming he was being told that the students were trying to get him. His angry outburst caused a student to get hurt and he was outcast to a school for children with special needs. Quinn was diagnosed with anger issues and severe Schizophrenia. The school took immediate action and began to give Quinn paliperidone to help treat the Schizophrenia and anger management to help with the outbursts. While the anger management really helped, the diagnosis was clearly getting worst. Slowly, but surely
At the age of 10, a bunch of students began picking on him and things took a turn for the worst. Quinn snapped and had another outbreak. This time, however was much worst. Quinn began to savagely beat one of the students. After the security guards were able to break up the fight, Quinn was insisting his name was Elliott Sinclair. Elliott was never going to give up. No matter how many adults insisted that he was Quinn, Elliott insisted that he was who he thought he was. This enraged Elliott that the adults were lying to him and trying to convince him he was something he wasn't.
As time went on, the doctors finally diagnosed Quinn with an aggressive case of Disassociative Identity Disorder (D.I.D.). The doctors tried to medicate, but with the aggressive nature of the disorder it didn't respond to any of their medications.
As Quinn got older, Elliott took on a whole being of his own. He began to pop up any time Quinn seemed to get in situations where he got angry. Not every time, but it happened often. The doctors and psychiatrists noted that Elliott seemed to be aware of the fact that he was a personality, and was aware of things in Quinn's life. Elliott was there to help stand up for Quinn. However the doctors also noticed that Quinn was entirely unaware of Elliott and seemed to just lose chunks of time and was never aware of the actions of Elliott.
Quinn finally got the letter to Hogwarts when he was 11 and it helped his dad process some of the things that was going on. He had hoped that with him having magical blood, that would help to not only explain his disorder, but maybe they had a way to help him. He was sorted in to Hufflepuff and tended to disappear into the crowd. He kept to himself and tried to keep his stress to a minimum as to not agitate and let his disorder take over.
In his third year, he found a girl that he really liked and decided to make a move to ask her out. She made fun of him and called him a freak in front of a lot of people. This really angered him, but instead of Elliott coming out, something else happened. Lacy Jones appeared from the deep. Lacy was a flirt. She knew exactly what to say and do to try to get what she wanted by flirting and seduction. Even at the young age, she seemed to be a temptress. She was confident and direct, completely counteracting Quinn's normal behavior. While Quinn himself was completely Gender Fluid (Meaning he does not identify as a boy or a girl and actually despises getting the label Boy or Girl used for him) Lacy came out as the clear female/feminine side.
When the Psychiatrists started talking to Lacy, they learned that Lacy was a bisexual female who basically encompassed the love life of Quinn. Lacy identified as a bisexual Female. Lacy seemed to also be aware of Elliott and Quinn and was able to communicate with Elliott through thoughts. Quinn was still not aware of Lacy or Elliott, but was just losing more and more chunks of time. Sure, Quinn was being told what was happening, but he couldn't remember a thing.
Quinn thought he was a freak and found himself turning inwards. He didn't want people to know about his personalities, but they were taking over more and more as the stress and hormones of becoming a teenager really took it's toll. Dai did all he could to help his son out. Even tried to treat the other two personalities as his own as was recommended by the psychiatrists. Dai slowly ran out of money for the medications. He worked two jobs trying to make ends meet, but he was also unable to be there for his son emotionally, while still being unable to provide enough for all the medical bills. When they declared bankruptcy, Quinn refused to take the medication and decided he would just live with his condition and try to make the best of it.
His dad was able to arrange for a grant to get a therapy dog that would be there for when he was depressed and anxious, which happened often. Artair was a samoyed puppy that would be waiting for him after his 3rd year at Hogwarts. They hoped that with the dog, he would be able to help keep his emotions calmed and help him through the school year.
Parent(s): Dai Peralta (father). Yatsuko (mother)
Sibling(s): No siblings
Other(s): none
Pet(s): Artair (Samoyed. Therapy Dog)
Economic Status: Quinn's father was able to provide a very decent middle class living until the medical bills started rolling in. They tried hard to keep their heads above water, looking for insurance coverage and loopholes to help pay their medical bills.
His dad took a second job to try to make more money and provide, but it was inevitable. They went bankrupt. They tried to start over and Quinn tries helping whenever possible, but they are working hard to barely keep their heads afloat.
Personality Description:
--------------------
Quinn: Quinn is a very shy person who wishes he was outgoing. He feels though that if he gets too excited, his disorder could take over. At any given time he knows that Elliott and Lacy could take over and he does everything he can to try to keep in his own head. It terrifies him when he wakes up from a blackout because he has no idea what he did and who he was.
Quinn is very much an introvert. First, he doesn't know for sure if he likes girls or boys. He doesn't even know if he is a girl or boy. He is so confused with the said emergence of Lacy. He sleeps in the boys Dorm and uses the boys bathroom, but some days, if you ask him, he feels like he should be a girl. This gets him flustered when dealing with members of the opposite sex. Or the same sex for that matter.
Quinn is very faithful to his dad and works hard in school so he could maybe one day provide for his father and him, even though he doesn't understand how he would be able to hold down a job in his current state.
----------------------
Elliott Sinclair:
Elliot is severely protective of Quinn. Anytime he thinks that Quinn is in trouble, Elliot takes over. The only problem is that when he is in that mood, he can't control his anger. All he can think about was defending himself and defending Quinn and Lacy. He didn't think to use his wand, he wasn't talented at magic but he just kept punching, kicking and biting until they were down or they made him stop. When he was in that state, he didn't say much but his name and unintelligible yelling.
He had a different mood though. Sometimes, when he got board. He just liked taking over and destroying things, didn't matter what it was. He would meddle with peoples relationships, find things to explode, he enjoyed the sound of breaking glass. He can make friends with people and then use that to destroy them and he had no qualms about it.
----------------------
Lacy Jones:
Lacy is a truly fearless individual. She is willing to go up to anyone without fear and talk to them, most of the time in a quite flirtatious manner. Even though Lacy is a personality she does not accept the fact that since Quinn is a boy that that means that she has to be as well. Either way, she has attractions to both girls and guys which only grows stronger as Quinn grows older. Since Lacy is a more sexual being in general than Quinn she may be more perceptive to Quinn's body going through puberty.
While Lacy is great at being social it is not always easy to make friends. This isn't only due to the fact that she is technically the personality in someone's mind, but also since she is so flirtatious and has a hard time controlling this most of her interactions leave people uncomfortable if they don't want her to be acting that way towards them. Lacy has an unbridled determination that does not allow her to be held back by most things.
Physical Description:
Height: 5 foot 0 inches
Weight/Build: 100 pounds/Skinny, non muscular
Skin Tone: Asian decent, tannish skin but not super dark.
Hair Color and Style: Pinkish tint with chin length messy hair. (naturally black)
Eye Color: Very Dark Brown
Personal Scent: Quinn smells like fresh cut fruit and Honey
Quinn is very small and skinny. His physical size helps him blend in to a crowd since he isn't very overbearing. What does set him apart, however is his style of dress. Almost like a skater/rock star with long hair. Quinn works very hard to try not to dress too much like a boy or girl. He wants to keep people guessing as far as what he is since he doesn't like labels.
Quinn has hair that almost takes on a personality of his own. He used to have it fairly straight cut, and he decided to let it grow out. One day, he blacked out and later found out that Lacy had taken over and was out chasing boys. When he finally regained himself, he had woken up with his once black hair, a slight hue of pink. He decided he didn't mind the look and left it that was.
Quinn's List:

Special Talents: Quinn knows how to play the guitar and piano sometimes sit and play to himself to try to focus his brain to keep control. His dad had started teaching him as a way to bond between the two of them, but he finds it very calming and he does indeed love music in general.
Quinn also has a special ability to disappear into crowds and blend in without calling too much attention to himself.
RP Example: Quinn shook his head as he looked around. "Where am I this time?" he asked himself. Did he really just have another episode? He looked around trying to decide where it was he was left this time. Luckily, he was still in the school. He sighed heavily. He didn't know if it was Lacy or Elliott that took over, and truthfully, unless someone tells him what had just happened, he would never know. This was getting more and more common for him. The psychiatrists told him he needed back on his medication, but they just didn't have the money for it. He needed to make sure his dad was provided for before he was even willing to try the medication himself.
Quinn felt stable again and he stood up. He walked up the corridor and found some stairs. He wanted to get to his common room. Hopefully Lacy or Elliott didn't cause so much trouble that he was going to be in any trouble. He wasn't worried about his friends, because he didn't really have anyone he could call a friend. The closest thing he had to a friend was Artair. He couldn't wait to finally be able to have the dog with him all the time. Something to help him focus. Something to keep him Quinn, and not anyone else who may be hiding in his head.
