I was born to some great parents. Really chill. It's pretty cool too because my dad is a werewolf. I wasn't born one. Kind of sucked that I wasn’t one though. I would have rocked being a baby werewolf. But anyway. My mom fell in love with my father, going to Hogwarts together they were in different houses and originally didn't get along. Of course it was probably because my Mother was the typical studious competitive Ravenclaw. She was wonderful, and amazing and perfect, according to my father. He had tried to ask her out several times, but being the ever so nervous Gryffindor he was, it usually turned into an argument. Really it' amusing to hear all the stories. It was after Hogwarts where they got together. My father was an auror and was trying to bring in a suspect in a murder, when he was attacked by the suspect. Apparently he was a werewolf. Thankfully my mother was a healer at St. Mungo's and being the smartest and most beautiful witch-my father's words- he was able to be saved instead of dying. Of course that made him a werewolf forever. It was during his recovery time in the Hospital that he finally, FINALLY, asked my mother out. Things from there resulted in well, me and a year later, my sister.
When I was about six, I saw some awesome comics in a shop. Don't remember where, but it was while I was out with my father. I begged him to get me a couple, or just one, and finally after pulling out the pouty face, the puppy dog eyes and the sky opening up to make me look like the true angel I am, he agreed. That was the day I found out that bow and arrows were awesome. Thankfully my birthday was around the corner and all I wanted was a bow and arrow. My parents are really the best. Because that's what I got. Mind you with soft tips. Don't need me doing damage to anyone. The hobby has lasted me even to this day, it's one of my favorite things, even more so than using magic. And not to toot my own horn but I'm really quite good. I of course have upgraded the bow and arrows to suit my needs and practice.
My childhood before Hogwarts was great. My father would take me camping all summer. He is really good at teaching me how to survive off the land. I don't know if he learned it from his father, or if it was because of his change to being a werewolf. I never asked, and he never told. I figure it isn't important even now. Anyway, when I was twelve my father, mother, sister and I went camping over the summer break. Completely normal. Except for when the full moon happened. Then my father left and we stayed in our tents. Otherwise it was a normal vacation. What expecting that to be when I was changed? Nope. I don't get a change. So lame. There were plenty of times. Of course being mauled by a werewolf isn't really something I look forward to. I'm not some crazy person desperate to be a werewolf-though I would still be an amazing wolf.
My life at Hogwarts has been pretty normal. Not many people know that my father is a werewolf, not that I care. I keep myself afloat well enough too. Sure I get into trouble, but what's life if you don't have fun? Just that people don't know how to have fun at Hogwarts…well the teachers. So strict. Just because I blew some of the toilets up doesn't mean I'm a misguided student. Or that time third year when whenever someone walked into the great hall glitter in the colors of their house would rain down from the ceiling, doesn't mean I'm segregating people. I was just having some fun. I thought it would be cool. And rather than have it be the same colors every time I would change it up. I'm just hoping the next few years they lighten up.
Personality Description:
Positive: Friendly, Adventurous, Easygoing, Gentleman
Negative: Impulsive, Flirt, Blunt, Claustrophobic
Barry loves to have a good time and joke around with people. He loves going on adventures, exploring parts of the castle and woods he's not supposed to. He gets into trouble for it sometimes. He has no problem serving detention for being out late or wandering to places he shouldn't. His grades are otherwise good, so he's not worried about failing out. This leads into his easy going nature. He likes hanging out and relaxing with friends, he gives of those calm, almost surfer vibes from people who live on the beaches state side. Even though he is easy going, doesn't mean he isn't a gentleman. His mother and father taught him to respect women and to treat them well.
Even though he's a gentleman, Barry still is a total flirt. He isn't always smooth with the lines like he thinks he is, but he has scored a few dates for being adorably cheesy. He's also impulsive. He'll throw himself into a fight without thinking if he believes in the cause. This also lands him into trouble. Something else that lands him into trouble and makes him stumble over his words is when he decides to be blunt. It's not his fault his impulsiveness and his natural curious nature-thanks to his adventurous side- makes him say things or ask things flat out, without skirting around the issue. One thing that will make Barry lose control, and start having an anxiety attack, a break down, and even cry is when someone puts him into a small space. He has a huge case of claustrophobia. His parents found out when he was younger that he had it and avoided putting him into small places, and really crowded places.
Physical Description:
Height: 5' 9"
Weight/Build: 135 lbs skinny
Skin Tone: pale
Hair Color and Style: dark brown almost black, usually kept medium length and slightly messy from running his hands through it all the time.
Eye Color:Blue
Personal scent: Campfires and earth/dirt
Barry likes to wear t-shirts under dress shirts, and jeans. He's relaxed about his clothing style and wears clothes he finds comfortable over style. If his clothes mismatch, they mismatch. He likes to wear converses or vans as they're easier to slip on and off. He usually leaves his hair messy, only because he puts his hands through his hair throughout the day. He only combs it when he decides to actually dress up and go to a ball or dance, or other fancy event. He has bright blue eyes that sparkle with a playfulness almost all the time. And even though he spends most of his time out and about in the wilderness he still has pale skin.

Special Talents:
Archery skills- Barry is highly and overly proficient in archery. He started when he was very young, after reading a comic where the hero uses a bow to beat the bad guys. It's his way of relaxing and a fun form of exercise to keep him from being awkwardly skinny.
Drawing comics- Having started drawing at a young age when he also started reading comics, he is really good at drawing his own figures and heroes. And of course villains. He doesn't know how to write good stories though. He can create amazing works of art, and covers worthy of a comic sold on shop shelves, but the words and pushing the story forward he falls flat.
RP Example:
Thunk. Thunk. Thump.
The arrows hit their marks perfectly. Each one being dead center in the target. All were in difficult places and half hidden. Barry smiled as a Fourth arrow was nocked and then loosed by him in a matter of seconds, hitting the farthest target from his spot. He had opted out of moving targets, and running around trying to hit targets. He was able to do it, but yesterday had been a long day with running around and playing and getting ready for that night when his father went out. Dinah had wanted to go exploring in the woods behind their house, but Barry had to go with her. Not that he minded. They both knew how to handle themselves in the woods, but Dinah had a problem with navigation. She was still the cutest thing that Barry had seen. Okay, well, besides the cute girls at school. But he meant she was cute in a different way. She was his little sister and she was still so innocent and wide eyed at things. He couldn't help but have that weak spot for her adorableness. "Barry! Dinner!"
He turned towards the house, half hidden by the trees and foliage around him. "Alright! Be in in ten!" He said before slinging the bow over his shoulder and climbing into a tree. He quickly went around the area and pulled all the arrows out of their places. He smiled and dropped the blunt tipped arrows into the quiver and counting to make sure all twenty four were there. Once he was certain they were he headed back to the house and dropped his things into the garage that was used as a storage house for all the survival things they owned. He entered the house and was immediately greeted by warm air and the smell of chicken pot pie. His mother was about to say something but he smiled and waved her off. "I know. Wash my hands and face," he said causing Ariella to smile.
Barry quickly did what he said he was going to do before sliding into his seat across from Dinah. He stuck his tongue out at her and she laughed. "How was the library?" He asked waiting for the food to be brought to the table.
He watched as Dinah shrugged. "It was okay. They didn't have anything new though," she responded disappointment evident in her voice. Barry couldn't help but chuckle at her response. "Well of course they don't have anything new. You were just there yesterday," he said shaking his head.
He watched as she pouted and crossed her arms. Before they could converse longer a large hand landed on his head and messed his hair up. "Alright settle down you two. If you keep going like this the table will be broken," William joked sitting in his seat.
"How? We don’t weight that much?" Barry said rolling his eyes. It wasn't like either of them were super strong. Now if he was a werewolf he totally could. But then his mother would be pissed.
Just as William was about to reply when Ariella placed the food onto the table and then the rest of the food magically followed. "Okay enough chatting, time to eat,"
