William was a wizard who met a muggle named Sophia while visiting America on a business trip. He works for a shop in Diagon Alley that sells different antique things. He had inherited the shop from his father. It had always been William's passion. Sophia was working at a pub when he walked in after a long hard day. William and Sophia fell in love and was married three months after meeting. William told Sophia that he was a wizard after they got married. Their only daughter, Aurora, was born two years later. They both doted on her. Aurora was six when Sophia passed away from an illness. William alternated his work schedule to raise his daughter. He made sure that Aurora had a happy childhood. He didn't want her to feel neglected. He met Rose, a pureblood, when she came into his shop, looking for a lamp. They dated for a couple of years before they got married. Aurora was  ten when her half sister was born. She was very excited to have a sibling. As much as she didn't mind being a only child, she was happy to have someone to hand things down to. She doted on her sister whenever she was home from school.

William's family tree has mostly purebloods but some relatives have married muggle borns.  Aurora has five cousins who are half blood. The Davis family doesn't judge a person by their blood status. They judged a person on how they treat their inferiors. There are members of Rose's family that thought that muggles should be put in their proper place. After Rose married William, some of her family disowned her. None of them were her parents however. Sophia's family still lives in America. They know about the wizarding world but they live in the muggle world. Rose's family is mostly purebloods. Aurora is the only Davis at Hogwarts. She knew at a young age about Hogwarts. William had went there and was in Ravenclaw. When Hogwarts decided to let muggles in, William thought it was a good idea, as did Rose. Some of Rose's family wasn't too happy. They prefer to keep magic with people who deserve it.


Personality Description: Aurora is smart and brave. She wouldn't hesitate to stand up to bullies when it comes to protecting her family. She is loyal to her loved ones. She is organized but doesn't believe in perfection. She tries to treat people with respect but only if they deserve it. She isn't nosy. She tries to be herself and not what other people think she should be. She is funny and sweet.

Even though she had grown up for most of her life as an only child, she is very outgoing. She grew up with male cousins so she is comfortable around the opposite sex. She likes to watch Quidditch but doesn't play. She is more into fashion and anything girly. She loves her stepmother and her sister. She is intelligent but doesn't show off.

Aurora is tall and slender. She likes to think that her legs are her best feature. She exercises so that she doesn't lose her figure. She is always making new clothes but she tries to make sure that they aren't too slutty. Her family isn't poor but not very wealthy. She sometimes wears glasses when she reads. She is always trying new ways to wear her hair, though she always seems to have a pencil in it. She keeps her hair long so that she can always do something with it. Sometimes she would have paint on her hands.

Special Talents:
Aurora is a pretty good drawer, if she could say so herself. She has been drawing and painting since she was five. She had learned it from her birth mother and she used it to grieve her mum and keep her close. Her father likes to hang up anything she makes but of course he is biased. She also likes making clothes. She can also absorb things that she reads in books after reading it a couple of times. She learns quickly and her favorite class is DADA.


RP Example:
Aurora sat on her bed, bolts of fabric in front of her. She wanted to make a new blouse for her younger sister. Even though she was at school most of the year, she tried to make sure that her sister knew that she was thinking about her. She knew that she could probably just make the shirt by magic but liked to do it by hand. That made it more special. She knew that she should be studying but she wanted to get it down before Anna's fifth birthday.

She held up what she had made so far. She was sure that Anna was going to like it. Her sister seemed to always like what Aurora made her. That made her very happy. She sometimes wished that her sister was closer to her in age so that they could go to school together. By the time Anna was eleven, Aurora would be out on her own. She knew that she wanted her future job to have something to do with either fashion or art. She supposed that she could go work in the muggle world and maybe work in a museum. She had time to figure it out though. After all, she was only fourteen. She still had three more years of school left.

She reached over to the bedside table to grab her glasses. She looked down as she sewed the right sleeve to the bodice of the blouse. It was long so that Anna could wear it in the winter. She cut the thread after she was done. She could feel her stomach growling for she had missed dinner so that she could work on her project. She reached over and pulled out her stash of her stepmother's cookies. She took a bite. She ate for a few minutes before going back to sew the other sleeve.
