Ophelia was born into a large family years after they decided that they didn't want anymore kids. Though their last child was a surprise they didn't shun her away, in fact Annabeth was overjoyed at having a baby in the house after seven years. It was a welcoming since Annabeth had given up her job as a model to have children, she wanted to go back when they were old enough to start school, but she loved her children and was hesitant to go back. Marcus saw how happy his wife was and knew that they were going to be keeping the baby no matter what he said. He had told her right from the start that he was a wizard and that their kids would most likely have the magic inside them. Meaning that once they turned eleven they would go to Hogwarts. They had discussed the matter of finances before starting to have children, and with the large sum of money that Annabeth had saved up they could live well for many years. With the inclusion of Marcus' income and his savings they didn't have to worry if they decided to have a large family.
The first ten years of Ophelia's life was filled with love and happy times with her parents. Her older siblings though, did not take kindly to her. They teased her and her older sisters were so harsh to her that she became self conscious of herself and was soft spoken. Her clumsiness came out and that only added fuel for her siblings to use against her. Her mother was busy most of the time cooking and cleaning when she wasn't back into her part time modeling.
Her Hogwarts letter came closer to her twelfth birthday, since she didn't make the cut off the previous year. She was excited and couldn't wait to start since that meant she was a witch and could learn magic like her older siblings. She heard stories from her father and godfather as she grew up about all the things that they got up to in Hogwarts and how magical it was. It awed her and she couldn't wait to see it for herself.
Her first few years at Hogwarts were rough. She had friends who were only using her to get laughs and make themselves feel better. Her sister Kiera-who had matured and stopped teasing her sister- had told her things got better and to hold on. Ophelia kept to her reading and lounging outdoors when she could, usually by the lake side. Writing when she had inspiration or saw something going on at school where she was just a bystander.
Personality Description:
Positives: Thoughtful, Reliable, Bright, and Brave
Negatives: Clumsy, Mistrusting, Insecure, Nervous
Ophelia is a soft spoken kind and caring girl. She thinks of others before she thinks of herself. She is always on time and when she says she'll do something she sticks to it, making a reputation for being reliable among her friends. Though she is soft spoken Ophelia will put herself between her friends and harm to keep them safe, even if it means that she'll wind up in the hospital or could even die. Ophelia loves to read, and due to that she is actually very bright, though some who see her, take her for being the opposite.
On the other side due to all the bad things that have happened in her past she doesn't trust easy. She has plenty of friends due to being in her house, but they aren't ones that she considers very close. Only a handful of people have gained her trust. She's also insecure about herself. From all the bullying and teasing she got when she was younger she is unsure of herself having no light until she was older. Ophelia is also very clumsy and nervous. She trips over her words when she is nervous and when she's put on the spot. She has a habit of tripping or knocking things over, bumping into things, on a normal basis.
Physical Description:
Height: 5'3"
Weight/Build: 120 lbs
Skin Tone: light tan
Hair Color and Style: varies between blond and brown, usually in long loose waves
Eye Color: Blue wears glasses
Ophelia has bright blue eyes that she rims with liner and mascara and light eye shadow most days, but she wont die if she isn't wearing any make up at all. She like to wear skinny jeans and simple tops, some having more flair than others due to her mothers modeling career. Ophelia's log wavy hair is usually left down and alone, but she does of course throw it into pony tails and messy buns. Ophelia has to wear glasses when she reads, her parents have suggested contacts, but decided to not bother since she only need them when she is reading.

Special Talents:
Cooking- Having spent much time in the kitchen with her mother, Ophelia is an excellent cook. She loves to cook things fresh and hum-whether she's any good at that she doesn't know- and just get lost in her own world. She does like to experiment with recipes and test them on friends.
Writing- As much as Ophelia likes to read, she loves to write equally as much. She doesn't let many people read her work, being insecure as she is. She is good at it and hopes that she could one day become a writer, once she finds inspiration.
Crocheting- Originally a way to get her to calm down and keep busy it stuck with her. She loves to make hats, scarves and blankets. It keeps her from getting stressed out and she occasionally sells them for cheap to people when she isn't giving them to friends as gifts.
RP Example:
It was late afternoon and classes had let out for the weekend. She had grabbed a small snack and cocoa from the kitchen before heading down to the great lake. She adjusted her glasses before she took the blanket out of her bag and placed it on the ground. She sat on it and pulled out a thicker wool blanket that she wrapped around herself. Ophelia took a sip of her cocoa before opening the book where it was dog eared. It was a good book that muggles seemed to enjoy and the take on magic from the author was interesting. She had been unable to put it down. Unfortunately school had been keeping her from finishing the first book in the series and she had to get through them all, soon. She had been dying to read the book and had decided to get away from the busy common room.
She heard some chattering from behind her and knew that some of the other students had finally managed to finish homework and had decided that it was a nice enough day out to spend it outside playing or just hanging out before the weather got too cold to stay outdoors for a long time. Ophelia took no mind of them. She knew that there was going to be noise and some people, but it wasn't as crowded as the common room. Everyone had come out of the wood works and were grouping up to work on assignments. She knew that she could have easily stay in her room and read, but she wanted the fresh air and the ability to read without interruption.
"Look out!" Someone shouted.
She felt something hard hit the back of her head and she rubbed the spot as she frowned. When she turned she saw a Frisbee on the ground. Her eyes looked up and she saw a boy standing in front of her. She grabbed the basic toy and tossed it to the Slytherin. The boy nodded and muttered a thank you before rushing back to his friends. "Gee nothing like a sorry to go with that thanks," she whispered before returning to her book.
Still better than the common room.
