Course Description
This is an introduction into the concepts and uses of Healing magic, potions and practices. While you may have learned several potions or charms that can alleviate or even cure some conditions, I will go into depth of the inner workings of the witch and wizard. You may not ultimately decide to become a Healer or Medi-Wizard, but this class will be preparation for the years of study that would follow.
Please make sure you have your copy of The Magic of Healing: An introductory Volume by Amelia Adderly, and your wand. You may be asked to bring a text from one of your other classes as a supplement to a lesson. To remain in this class in your 7th year, you must complete the 6th year with an E or better in the following classes:
For students who are preparing to go into Healer training, Arithmancy and Ancient Runes are highly recommended, but not required.

Classroom Rules
- Students who are tardy will have 10 points deducted from their House.
- All students must be in full uniform to class, but will be instructed if different attire will be required.
- Disruptions will result in House point deductions, up to the Professor's discretion.
- Do NOT use Healing Magic without Professor Jimenez's permission and supervision
- In case of a medical emergency, DO NOT report to this class or the Professor's office. Report to the Hospital Wing immediately.
