Are You Worried Yet?

While our Ministry has done a wonderful job lately, working to clean up the dishonorable markets that have slowly been on the rise over the last few years, almost everyone is impatiently waiting to hear the Minister's take on the changes that have been happening near to home. It is no longer any secret that Azkaban had been releasing prisoners due to the large amount of traffic taking place, and that those prisoners have been set up in Italy. What we do want to know is why? And why is it that haven't been returning to their homes rather than sticking around?
Italy's government had been undergoing a number of changes lately, and much of it has been led by the, what we believe to be, criminally-charged charisma their newest Minister for Magic's background check tells us. Yes, it's true, Italy's Minister was one of the first to be released from Azkaban, but what we do not yet know is the crime he was charged with.
However, it has come to our attention, and how could it not, that Western Europe has seen an alarming increase in witches and wizards relocating to our areas. The United Kingdom isn't the only target recently, every country on our boarder is seeing the rise of numbers, decline of economy, and sky-high rates of unemployment currently plaguing us. While we were on the mend for a while from a rather low point in our economic crisis just a few years back, numbers are not lying when we see them dropping.
Our Ministry is pulling together to provide for those who have relocated to find safer grounds, but how long will our Ministry be able to provide them, and us, protection? Across the continent, whispers have been shared and we're learning an uprising may be on the horizon. Of course, we all know how Chinese-Whispers get out of hand, but isn't there always a bit of truth in there somewhere?
We attempted to contact Minister van Gheule, but were unable to reach him for comment.
This reporter's advice, be wary of what is to come.
