Growing up with an older sister and loving parents was all Iris wanted, and she received it. Her older sister was her guide, mentor and friend, despite the age difference. The Waller family lived in seclusion for the first seven years of her life, only going out when needed. Iris didn't mind it, she had her sister and her parents. It wasn't until her sister was accepted into Hogwarts that her life became filled with people she had never met. Her parents allowed her aunt and uncle to come over, and it was then that Iris learned of her love for muggle tea. Her aunt would hold tea parties for her and the two would chat about the most ridiculous things, but it entertained Iris, and the different flavors made her wonder about what else could be done with tea.
Her aunt told her all about the muggle world-her being one- and how different the two worlds were, even though they were similar. Her mother wasn't too pleased that her older brother married a muggle, as it had ruined the pureblood line and no other could carry their name, but she didn't chide him, he was stubborn and she understood that love was love. She also understood that Iris was like a daughter to Thalia since she couldn't carry any of her own children.
Iris was accepted into Hogwarts a couple years after her sister and she was sorted. Her older sister was in a different house, but she was okay on her own. Her bubbly personality and love of just being around people made her make friends easily. She was of course sad that her sister didn't seem to acknowledge her presence unless they were at home on break. She didn't understand at first, but soon it was clear that her sister didn't want her around her friends. Iris' second year was hard. She tried talking to her sister, for help mostly, but her sister and her friends made fun of her and cast spells that caused her to run off crying.
Her second and most of third year she spent her time attempting to talk to her sister, but it didn't happen, unless they were alone and at home. Her sister apologized many times about her actions and promised to be better to her. Iris was sure if she could believe her sister, but with them being siblings and friends she did. Things changed after the winter break and the two were back to normal, Her sister no longer ignoring her when she tried to talk to her, and they spent study time together in the library.
Iris' fourth year was odd for her in the beginning. Her sister had left school and she only had her friends to talk to and the occasional letter from her sister that she got three times a month. She found out during winter break that her sister had left and her parents hadn't seen or heard from her since the start of the school year. It confused Iris, but she knew her sister was alright since she was still getting letters and they wrote about the silliest and random things that they could think of, simply ignoring the serious situations that were going on around the world. Iris learned not to care what the world thought of her, people were going to judge her no matter what, and decided that while she was still young she was allowed to wear obscure clothing and make up, show off her personality with her wardrobe.
Iris found out just before her fifth year that she was getting a large sum of money that her uncle and aunt put aside for her when she was born. Why she was getting it so soon, rather then when she turned of age was a puzzle to her. She found out soon enough that her uncle and aunt had been killed, by who, what or why was still a mystery to her. She had penned her sister a letter quickly and ask her to be careful. Her sisters reply was two words :You too.
Although the deaths of two of her closest people took a tole on her she didn't cry. She refused. She had to be strong for her friends. They were going to be next and she was going to be the friend they could go to and lean on to help get through the dark days, she could crumble later.
Towards the end of her fifth year and the summer leading into her sixth year she met the most annoying Slytherin in the world. She couldn't help but want to annoy him though, he seemed to have something shoved up his arse and it was stuck there, she was determined to figure out why it was there. Over the summer she started working on her shop and fixing up, only to have said annoying Slytherin show up at her shop door in need of a place to stay. Iris had offered her place up to him and of course let him stay, making her summer very eventful. In the end an argument lead to her magically dying his white uniforms and other white tops pink.
Iris' sixth year was a busy one. She had to keep up with her studies, learn to apparate and keep up with prefect duties. This lead her to be able to throw a school wide party just before the school year really took off and every one was busy with homework. It also lead to a tent filled with laughter from the Student leaders. Iris was the main source-with the help of Terrance- of the laughter, having licked the Seventh year prefect. Throughout the year Iris made friends with another Slytherin, Cameron, who was into pranking other students and thus they got along well. The blond had made other friends, but wasn't as close to them, or they were student leaders and the friendship was formed due to being seen during meetings.
The summer before her last year she bought a shop to fix up in London. She fixed it up to using magic-even though she knew how some people are- and made sure to stay true to her vision. She opened up a month before the school year started getting customers both muggle and wizard. Her shop thrived, even with the wariness between magical and non-magical people. Her magic was used to help serve and clean her shop, making a show of it on some occasions. She of course got some people who frowned upon her shop and though it put a temporary downer on her mood, she always bounced back. She gained customers that were alright with her policy and lack of care or worry on who she was serving.
As the school year begins she has no intention of closing her thriving shop. She had no reason to go back to Hogwarts, other than to say that she had completed it. She had heard about the admittance of muggles into the school, and though she was curious to see how it goes, she can get her information from her brother.
Personality Description: If you want to get into trouble Iris is your one stop shop for that. She doesn't intentionally get into trouble, she just stumbles into it while trying to have fun. She loves to party, which could range from actually throwing a party, or just getting together with a group of friends and just hanging out. When her curiosity is peaked, or she's bored she usually winds up looking around that castle and its usually after hours or during school. Iris is bubbly, kind and caring along with being the curious kitten that she is. She is loyal to her friends and does anything she can to help them feel better, even if it gets her into trouble instead of them. She loves to play flirt, but never thinks too much of it, it's part of her bubbly charm-which sometimes can be confused with being a spacey person- and sometimes she misses when people make a stab at her.
Although it takes a lot to anger or frustrate her, she can be a bit...moody. Her temper is rarely ever seen and she doesn't like to let people get the better of her, simply because she doesn't care what people think of her-unless it comes to her teas- and allows them to say whatever they want. If you however make snide remakes or scathing insults to her friends or about her friends she won't hesitate with a witty, funny, and cruel comment of her own, even if it does get her into a lot of trouble.
She always seems happy and bubbly, but she does hold her tears back, being strong to help her friends. She knows they will be there for her and that she will eventually have to come out with everything that is hidden in her past.

Her outfits range from normal baggy sweaters and skinny jeans to some pretty outlandish things, like blue lipstick and orange eye shadow. Special Talents: Brewing up teas. She has a Knack for creating all different kinds of teas. They range from simple muggle brews to her own magical creations where you could possibly lose sight of reality and get stuck in a fantasy. She keeps all her brews locked in a box that no one can get into and abuse, She understands that her teas can cause things similar to drunkenness, and hallucinations, and knows how much is a good amount to give to one person.
RP Example:
Skipping through the halls was one thing that was normal for her. She was always a hyper mess and always willing to explore no matter the end results. Currently though, skipping didn't feel right, dancing was more appropriate in this situation. Then again her friend did need some cheering up, which meant finding the most deserted hallway and making them feel better. It had been working so far. Ever since things had started to get funky in the world, she was their for her friends. She kept up on the prophet and the news, everything. If someone she knew had a family member who was killed, or injured, something, anything, she was there to cheer them up, even if it was only for a day.
Stopping her random, clearly horrid dancing she turned her green eyes to her friend and smiled. They had to hide away and talk, but pretending that she knew nothing was the best thing to do right now, if they were caught, she could pull off the excuse that she had forgotten something or that she had no clue what class she had, any teacher would believe that, even though it was the middle of the year.
"Off to the gardens of Eden shall we go? Or would you prefer the rabbit hole?" she questioned her eyebrow raised in curiosity.
Her normal friends would know that this was just how she normally was. No matter how much the pain of seeing those she loved die, she would comfort others before she wallowed in her own sorrows. It would catch up with her again at some point, but she'd deal with it when it happened. Until then her life was all rainbows and sunshine.
