A hidden world of magic didn't seem possible, at least not until the Statue of Secrecy was broken and it was decided both worlds would be better off without it. Everyone in the world is now connected, woven within a web of lies, magic, deception, love, fear, friendship, hate, life, and anguish. Many have profited from the changes that have been made and have moved on with their lives, but for others the end is very near. In this New Age not everyone can win, those with knowledge have power, power equals corruption, and good does not always outweigh bad.
It is for those very reasons the brink of war is upon both worlds

The Advocates for Wizarding Conservancy are looking for witches and wizards (of all kinds of descent) to support the very noble directive that is preserving our society. In 2020, a band of faceless wizards did us a grand disservice and irreversibly breached the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy of 1692, enlightening all Muggles of their magical counterparts. Centuries and millenia of culture and tradition are now at risk of being tainted and lost forever.
The AWC has proposed a difficult task of protecting our magical heritage as best as we can, but it cannot be done alone. We are trying to protect everything magical. This organization is still young, but has many goals in the future that would benefit our future as the unique magical beings that we are. We are looking for all kinds of support; monetary donations, historical documents and items of importance, suggestions, concerns. We welcome any support in any form as we start planning for our first major eveny for the Spring of 2025.
Please forward all owl correspondence to our Chief Advisor at the AWC office in Hogsmeade.

Straight from an Advocate Exclusive by Natalie Torbalt
Our loyal readers have recently been sending us their owls full of their fervent curiosity. The Advocates for Wizarding Conservancy have recently advertised in the Daily Prophet to increase their membership, and the most common concern among our readers is the familiar rhetoric that reminds us of our society's greatest conflicts. This reporter jumped at the chance to get an exclusive with an AWC member and set the record straight for our readers and anyone who is wary about the recent columns.
Upon entering their small headquarters in Hogsmeade, I was warmly greeted by Landon Preston, Chief Advisor for the AWC. At the moment, the word 'headquarters' is an overestimation of the space they have dedicated to their board members. Only a handful of offices are saved for those who are committed full time to the AWC, like Preston, and a slightly larger room with a long table for their frequent developmental meetings. After the short tour, Preston escorted me to his own office, which I found to be mostly littered with piles of correspondence very much like what we see at the Daily Prophet. "It's an encouraging beginning," he commented, with a confident smile. "We feared the public interpretation of what we consider a very important cause," he said, acknowledging the similarities to pureblood ideologies in the text, "But some things needed to be described plainly." Preston is referring to the detrimental effects of the breach of the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy of 1692, which was forcibly revoked in 2020 by a group of unnamed wizards that have still not been found and convicted. "It was a great error, and everyone will feel its influence in one way or another, at some point," he said gravely.
As I asked Preston about the doubts the Daily Prophet readers have, he seemed prepared to address the fear of another group of pureblooded wizards standing together, in any form. "We are Advocates for all aspects of wizarding culture and society." Mr. Preston insisted calmly with a smile. But Mr. Preston, who is of mostly pure magical descent, provided names of families in support of the AWC who are from long lines of untainted lineage (or very close to it), many that have always been outspoken in their support for pureblooded conservancy. "It just so happens that our founding members are from pureblooded families. Many of those families still have their personal beliefs that they feel compelled to uphold, but those ideologies are not always consistent with the AWC," he added, seemingly unaffected by the implication. "Our primary goal is to create venues and opportunities to celebrate and preserve our unique legacy as magical people. There is nothing we can now do about muggles learning about our existence, but we are encouraging to take pride and hold on to the traditions that make us so special."
The AWC has invited all forms of support from all types of magical folk, and have shown interest in demonstrating diversity among their members. Mr. Preston has told us that their recent meetings have gained momentum and many board members have exciting ideas that they find ambitious but worth the time and effort. Preston believes they will be able to release a tentative timetable and upcoming events and projects to be released to AWC members. Until then, he continues to read all your questions, concerns and support in Hogsmeade and invites us to be Advocates.
