Prudence Ava Young was born in the small town of Ripon. Her parents had wanted another boy because her mother Mary, a muggle, was obsessed with the Beatles, even though they are way before her time. She had already named her first three sons after members of the group but never got to name one of her sons Ringo. But instead she got a girl, so she named that girl Prudence because of the song "Dear Prudence." Prudence grew up hating her name so she always introduces herself as Pru.(not that Pru is the best name ever)
Her father John is a pure blood but despite what his parent said he had never hated muggles. They had been appalled when he told them that he was marrying a muggle and refused to ever see him again. Pru had grown up as a happy child but had always wondered what her grandparents were like.
Pru had a good relationship with her brothers, though they picked on her quite often they never meant to hurt her and loved her sincerely. She was always closest to her youngest older brother, Paul. Paul was the only one of her brothers that showed no signs of magic and never received a letter to Hogwarts. Even though she was very exited to get her letter, Pru was a little sad that she wouldn't have her favorite older brother there at school with her.
On sorting day while she was waiting she was thinking about her two older brothers that had gone here before her, they were both in Gryffindor. All though her brothers were in Gryffindor, Pru was hoping to get into Ravenclaw. She had always been told that she was smart, but had never really applied herself to school work.
Pru's first year at Hogwarts was good in her opinion. At first she was sad about her placement in Hufflepuff but got over it rather fast. She made friends and has only managed to make one enemy. She hasn't exactly been the perfect student. She sneaks out past curfew, has gotten into a fight, and got detention once for being late for class. Her schoolwork was decent but sometimes she had troubles paying attention in class.
The Purists at her school bug her. At first, she was just angry at them, especially Finley McAthur. They made her angry and sad with their hateful message but she had managed to mostly hide the sad part and just let the anger show. However, after her second encounter with a certain person she decided to try to be nice to the Purists even if they were total jerks.
Personality Description: Pru is normally happy and talkative. She doesn't really know who to deal with emotion though. She has the tendency to bottle up sadness more then anything else because she sees it as a sign of weakness. Instead she just kind of becomes mad at the world and ends up getting rid of the anger by getting into fights or playing Quidditch. This bottled up feeling causes her to be sad about things longer then she should be. She only really gets over things after she tells some one about it.
Pru doesn't take well to jerks and isn't afraid to speak her mind. She sometimes brakes the rules but never any of the major ones. She often get in trouble for the little things but is too carefree to complain about the punishment unless she thinks it is unfair.
Pru is also very smart, even though some times she doesn't act like it. She can sometimes have troubles getting certain ideas or subjects but she can get good grades if she wanted to. Problem is that she is very lazy and can't keep focused for very long. This has given her some problems in the past but she is getting better at doing her work.

Pru was always taller then all the other girls in her class but that was okay with that, sometimes she even liked being a little different. Her hair is brown and never frizzes which she likes because she never has to work that hard to make it look good. Her eyes are brown and they catch the light well, this makes them look shiny when ever it is a sunny day. Pru likes to where cloths that are comfortable. She is often found wearing jeans and a T-shirt when she is not in uniform.

Special Talents: Pru is a very talented musician. Even though she had troubles focusing in school she could always focus while playing her trombone. She also is good at singing too but she could never sing with a group of less then five people because of stage fright. Pru has always been good at doing magic, it wasn't her best talent but she was really good at remembering spells. This could have something to do with here two oldest brothers always telling about the spells an what they did.
RP Example: Pru was having the most confusing day of her life. It was her first day at Hogwarts and she had already gotten lost. She had been sorted but she was having a hard time finding her way back to her house after her first class. Not seeing her brothers here was really getting to her. Even if it would have been George or John Jr. she would have been happy, but they had already graduated.
When Pru got back to the entrance she was so glad that there was an upperclassmen there, she had already forgotten how to get in. Finally Pru got into her common room and got a chance to talk the other people in her class. She was so glad that her day was finally going her way. As she went to her second class she thought I think I am going to like this school.
