A hidden world of magic didn't seem possible, at least not until the Statue of Secrecy was broken and it was decided both worlds would be better off without it. Everyone in the world is now connected, woven within a web of lies, magic, deception, love, fear, friendship, hate, life, and anguish. Many have profited from the changes that have been made and have moved on with their lives, but for others the end is very near. In this New Age not everyone can win, those with knowledge have power, power equals corruption, and good does not always outweigh bad.
It is for those very reasons the brink of war is upon both worlds

Synopsis: In 2007, a group of women entered the Eglise de Madeleine in Paris and stripped topless to protest injustice from the Catholic Church toward women. The French public didn't know how to handle this display of resistance toward the establishment of the Church. When the women are arrested, France questions the importance of religious freedom and expression among its citizens.
Renée, a young Provançal college girl, feels very strongly about this debate. But when she runs up against the opposing view of her Ethics professor, Ann-Marie Blare, the nationwide debate is argued between the two women. Being an American, Professor Blare has strong oppositions against federal interference with religion, but her personal connection to the terrorism on September 11th has challenged her American sensitivities. Renée, on the other hand, is inspired by the Madeleine women and believes in their cause. But as the debate unfolds, Ann-Marie begins to discover a very different conversation developing, and it has next to nothing to do with religious freedoms.
This production stars Adelaide McAlarney as Renée and Aoife Hanlon as Ann-Marie Blare.

Synopsis: In a time of great social turmoil and a tepid peace, a girl of no means falls in love with a boy of no means. Without any bride price or power to his name, the boy sets out to make something of himself so that he can win the favor of his beloved's family. Fearing the advances of a newly appointed city watchman, the girl attempts to leave the city, but when misfortune (at the hands of the soldier) befalls her, she must summon all her strength to survive. But her encounter with the soldier produces lasting consequences, and soon the girl carries more than just a shameful secret with her. In a traditional society that enacts harsh punishment to women who step outside the lines, the girl, her aunt and her uncle soon find themselves in a struggle not only to keep her dignity intact but to survive. As the world she knew crumbles around her, the girl and her aunt devise a magnificent story in the hopes that it will help her survive, not only the ridicule of society but also the real possibility of losing the one person who loves her unconditionally.
Shame tells the story of two almost star-crossed lovers defiantly loving in a world of hatred, trusting in a time of deep distrust, and believing in one another despite the odds.
