History: Julia, or Jewels as her family likes to call her, comes from a long line of witch hunters. Julia, or Hop as her friends like to call her, also comes from a long line of money. This combination made her childhood very interesting. A lot of people think that witch hunters didn't exist but just talk to Julia and you will find out that they do. OK actually you probably won't. Julia doesn't like talking about her family much or the fact that they are witch hunters. How embarrassing was that? Especially since nonmagical folks, or muggles as she has quickly learned they were called, had found out that wizards were indeed real and not there to hurt them. That however only motivated her parents even more.

That is why Julia Hopkins is going to Hogwarts. When her parents heard of the school for witches and wizards opening up to everyone they jumped on the idea to send their only daughter to investigate. After all what better way to learn how to hunt them then to get to practically live with them? They were really lucky that they were good at investing the family money because witch hunting definitely didn't pay the bills.

Jewels was excited to go but not so she could gather witch hunting related information for her parents but mostly because it would maybe give her a chance to get away from her nut job family. That and who wouldn't want to go to a magical school even if she couldn't preform magic herself? OK she probably wouldn't want to because her parents might burn her at the stake. Just kidding, that was a rather arkaic method they mostly just used Pl bullets now a days.

Personality Description: Despite her crazy family, Julia is rather sane. She is a sweetheart heart to most people and to those she doesn't like we they better watch out because she might just kill them with kindness. She is bubbly and squeeky and does not do well with confrontation. She is one of those people that usually just breaks down and cries if someone even raises there voice at her a little.

Despite not being able to stand up to people, Jewels has an adventurous soul. She loves to explore,climb trees, swim and hike but unless it is the right person she prefers to be on her own. She is nice but she is a loner. Julia will talk to everyone but it will be small talk and not really mean much and she isn't one to invite anyone on an adventure with her.


Physical Description: Julia is small but agial giving her a bit of an athletic build for her age. She had giant brown eyes and crazy curly and frizzy hair that she can never tame. Her skin is darker but it is creamy like milk chocolate. She is normally dressed casually in cloths that are good for hiking and other such activities. She can however rock a dress and doesn't mind wearing them if the occasion is right.

Special Talents: Julia is good at hiding. She is tiny and can slip into a lot of places or if there is somewhere to climb she can usually evade people that way. It comes in handy for her lack of skills in confrontation. People can't confront you if they can't find you. One time, the girl hid a whole day from her parents and she was simply switching from different spots in her room. They probably would have called the cops but they just assumed that that a witch had kidnapped her.


RP Example: Julia just wanted to get out. Get out of her house and get away from her crazy parents. On the other hand, how was she supposed to tell people at a school of witches and wizards that her parents were witch hunters? Lie that is how. She didn't like doing it but sometimes it was necessary. 'They are investors' she would tell them or 'Oh my parents? They are entrapranuars.' It would probably be easier to just say they were dead but that wasn't a nice lie. Not that any lie was.

The girl had convinced them that she should go by herself because they might blow their cover. The good thing about paranoid parents was that they bought a lot of things that normal parents wouldn't. That and they only lived a block or so from the station. She looked for the oddly numbered platform and saw the two people standing guard. She went over. "Excuse me. Is this platform 9 and 3/4? I have this here that told me to come here." She said showing them the Hogwarts letter.

"Yup right through this wall." They said with out further explanation. She guessed they were magical but this seemed a bit weird. She wasn't going to argue. She walked through the wall and it took her to a whole different place. She couldn't help but think how this was going to be a whole different kind of crazy then her family way.
